A documentary film about the shooting of Andy Lopez plans to focus not on his death, but the community’s response to it.
The fatal shooting of 13 year old Andy Lopez was shocking and polarizing. But documentary filmmaker Ron Rogers is more interested in what has happened in the neighborhood afterward.
That fund-raiser for the “Andy” film will be held from 4-6 pm Sunday at Worth Our Weight café on Hahman Drive in Santa Rosa, and will also include a Q& A session with the film’s producers.
