Eclipse in Our Region Will Be Fun, if not Total – Aug 14, 2017

It’s coming, one week from today. Here’s what you need to know about the eclipse.

The countdown is on… Next Monday, the total solar eclipse will darken a swath of the country. Forward looking enthusiasts have booked up most of the hotel rooms and campsites in the eclipse’s path. Reporter Steve Mencher talked with a local expert about what you’ll see if you’re staying home.

On August 15th, 16th and 19th the Santa Rosa Junior College planetarium will present a program about the eclipse. Eclipse viewing parties are planned throughout the area.
