Making Connections Between Food, Water, and Fossil Fuels as Storms Bear Down – Sep 8, 2017

We’ll meet the founder of an organization that’s making connections between our food, our water, and climate change.

Many national organizations consider the politics of food or water, or advocate for necessary changes to our use of fossil fuels–but few take a holistic look at all three… The founder and executive director of Food and Water Watch stopped by our studios yesterday to tell news director Steve Mencher what her organization is working on – and how she’s helping people make connections to heal the systems that nourish us.

Wenonah Hauter is founder and executive director of Food and Water Watch. She spoke with KRCB News Director Steve Mencher. Find links to her organization, and how you can get involved on the North Bay Report webpage at KRCB dot org/news.
