We’re meeting Vietnam veterans in our area – learning about their experiences during and after the war. What happens when a vet returns to Vietnam decades after fighting there?
Over the past few months, we talked with local Vietnam veterans about their lives during and after the war. Fred Ptucha served four tours in Vietnam. In 2002, he returned there with a group of vets to help build homes for their former enemies. He told KRCB news director Steve Mencher about that visit.
