Vietnam Veteran Remembers a Ping, Then ‘Boom.’ – Nov 8, 2017

In advance of our screening tomorrow in Sebastopol of excerpts from the Ken Burns Vietnam series, we’ll hear from one veteran who remembers the exact moment he stepped on the improvised bomb that changed his life.

Tomorrow night, KRCB is hosting a film showing at the Rialto Cinemas in Sebastopol. We’ll be screening highlights of the PBS series The Vietnam War and hearing about the experiences of those who fought and returned home changed forever.
Vietnam veteran Martin Lesinski is one of the panelists who will be joining us tomorrow at this special event. He recently spoke with news director Steve Mencher.

Join us tomorrow night at 7:15 when KRCB hosts a showing of highlights from The Vietnam War series, followed by a panel discussion at Rialto Cinemas in Sebastopol.
