Sonoma Valley Cannabis Enthusiasts Come Together to Talk Marketing, Law, Strategy and Terroir – July 20, 2018

It may surprise visitors to the county, if not residents, that cannabis, though “legal” to use and grow for personal use, still can’t be bought in many California towns.

Cannabis is on the agenda Monday at the Sonoma City Council – in a town where no dispensaries are yet open for business. A month ago, about 50 folks gathered at the Sonoma Grille to share ideas about how to make growing and selling pot more accepted in the Sonoma Valley. News director Steve Mencher was there as organizer Michael Coats kicked off the meeting of the Sonoma Valley Cannabis Enthusiasts.
