‘Alliance for a Just Recovery’ meeting starts a discussion on wildfire reconstruction and social change – Aug 1, 2018

Rebuilding after the deadly October wildfires can be about more than construction. It can also be about building a community that is safer and fairer for all residents.

After the devastating October wildfires, communities across the North Bay are grappling with how to rebuild in a way that is fair, just and efficient. Community organizers met on July 19th to talk about using the reconstruction efforts to improve the lives of all North Bay residents. Reporter Adia White has more on the ideas that several speakers shared during this meeting.
