Perhaps you passed someone on the street today as you went about your business – someone in your neighborhood who can’t afford housing or who doesn’t want to live under a roof.
To better understand the housing crisis in our region, KZYX in Mendocino County is putting a human face on homelessness. First up today, reporter Sarah Reith talks with Christopher Hall, who was homeless in Ukiah for about five years. Now he’s housed and sober. He talks about how he hit rock bottom, then found his way back with the help of the Mendocino County AIDS and Viral Hepatitis Network.
