In mid-September, organizers of the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco presented several days of panels and presentations with a hopeful spin. Under the leadership of Governor Jerry Brown and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the summit showed that companies and governments around the world are committed to reducing greenhouse gases. That’s despite our president’s tweets that climate change is a hoax.
