Representative Jackie Speier has written an autobiography. She calls it “Undaunted.” It’s packed with personal revelations. For Speier, the personal has always been political, starting before she nearly lost her life on Leo Ryan’s ill-fated mission to Jonestown, Guyana 40 years ago. She spoke with KRCB News Director Steve Mencher and their discussion ranged from the government shutdown to evolving ideas of feminism.
