Recology Comes to the North Bay with Plans for Better Treatment of Workers, and Move to Zero Waste – January 22, 2019

You may not give your trash much thought. You put it out, it disappears, you fill up the bins again. But there’s more at stake.

In December 2017, the waste management company Recology took over garbage collection from the Ratto Group in parts of the North Bay, affecting 55,000 residential and commercial customers. In February 2018, Rhian Miller visited the San Francisco facility where Recology is working to make “Zero Waste” happen.

Tonight at 9:00 pm on KRCB TV22 you can watch, “Racing to Zero: In Pursuit of Zero Waste.” It’s all about trash and Recology’s work in San Francisco.
