Newsmaker Interview with Tribal Leader Greg Sarris, Part Two – March 7, 2019

It’s not every writer and professor who gets to help spend tens of millions of dollars to improve his community.

Yesterday, we talked with Sonoma State professor Greg Sarris about his newest book. Today, we move on to his role as tribal chairman. There, he helps direct millions of dollars from the Graton Resort and Casino to environmental and social justice causes. Sarris spoke with KRCB News Director Steve Mencher about the increased giving planned by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria.
