In the Wake of A Violent Month in Sonoma County, Madeline O’Connell From the YWCA Talks About Resources for Survivors of Domestic Violence (Part 2) – April 3, 2019

About 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men are survivors of domestic violence.

We’re continuing our conversation today about domestic violence. Last month, there were three murder-suicide cases in Sonoma County. All victims were married couples. In two of these cases, police had responded to suicidal threats before the incident and removed licensed weapons from the house. KRCB’s Adia White spoke with Madeline Keegan O’Connell, the CEO of Sonoma County’s YWCA. They talk about the profile of domestic violence and what to do if you suspect someone you know may be at risk.
