For the past 50 years, only members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have been able to visit the Mormon Temple in Oakland. For two more weeks, anyone can walk through the doors.
Since 1964, when it officially opened, a local church has been off-limits to all but members of the faith — until this month. KRCB News Director Steve Mencher has the story.
