As Sonoma County’s population ages, elder fraud and abuse are on the rise.
State Senator Bill Dodd is introducing a bill in the legislature to make June, Elder Abuse Awareness Month. He recently held a forum in Rohnert Park to talk about the growing problem of scams and abuse as the North Bay’s population continues to age. KRCB’s Adia White has more.
