Activists Reach Agreement with Law Enforcement on Homeless Camp Clean-ups – August 13, 2019

The Santa Rosa Police Department now must follow stricter guidelines when removing homeless encampments from public spaces.

At the beginning of July, Activists reached an agreement with the City of Santa Rosa and the County of Sonoma over how homeless people are treated during encampment clean-ups.  KRCB’s Adia White went to Santa Rosa’s Olive Park during a clean-up later that month to find out what the new policy looks like.
