Sonoma County Leaders Discuss Challenging the Status Quo – September 11, 2019

How progressive is Sonoma County? Barbie Robinson, Director of the Department of Health Services, shares her opinion during a panel discussion.

The local non-profit, California Human Development held a panel discussion with North Bay Women leaders last month. In this excerpt from the panel, Barbie Robinson, the Director of the Sonoma County Department of Health Services, was asked how she disrupts the status quo.

Two of the participants from that panel, Supervisor Lynda Hopkins and Karen Demarest of the Sonoma County Community Foundation will be joining us on Sunday night for our next edition of Connect the Bay — Closing the Gap, Conversations with Women Leaders. We will also be joined by School Board Trustee Stephanie Manieri and Sonoma State Chief of Staff Jerlena Griffin-Desta. Send questions for these guests to  news@norcalpublicmedia.org. The show will also feature Co-founder of United Farm Workers Dolores Huerta and Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
