One CSU-based program seeks to diversify the ranks of classroom teachers, Part 1 – December 24, 2019

Having male teachers of color in the classroom improves outcomes for students of color. 

Fewer than 10 percent of California’s teachers are men of color. And that’s a problem…because they could play a significant role in helping to close the achievement gap for black and brown boys. As part of the California Dream collaboration, KQED’s Vanessa Rancaño reports.
