Actor and writer Peter Coyote will read from and sign his new book, The Rainman’s Third Cure: An Irregular Education. Coyote has acted in over 120 films for some of the world’s most distinguished filmmakers, including Barry Levinson, Pedro Almodovar, and Steven Spielberg. He is an Emmy-Award winning narrator of over 170 documentary films, including Ken Burns, National Parks, Prohibition, The West, the Dust Bowl and the acclaimed The Roosevelts for which he received his second Emmy. Coyote’s memoir of the 1960’s counter-culture, Sleeping Where I Fall, received universally excellent reviews. His new book, The Rainman’s Third Cure: An Irregular Education, about mentors and the search for wisdom, was nominated for one of the top five books in Northern California in 2015.

Tickets are free with Museum admission and available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 10:00 am on the day of the event.
