Redwood Empire Food Bank – December 19, 2017

Redwood Empire Food Bank
Ongoing Food Relief Efforts

In order for the Redwood Empire Food Bank (REFB) to continue meeting the existing need for food assistance in our community, and increase our provision of help for our neighbors impacted by the devastating fires in our region, we need your support.

The REFB will offer Station 3990 emergency food distributions to all of our neighbors impacted by the fires at mobile, drive-through distribution sites throughout Sonoma County this week, rain or shine. Visit for times and locations.

While Station 3990 is serving those directly affected by the fires, the REFB has food resources available to anyone in our community who is facing hunger. If you were not directly impacted by the fires but are in need of food assistance, please reach out to our Food Connections office at (707) 523-7903 between 9:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, and we will connect you to a food distribution in your neighborhood.

Join Oliver’s Market in supporting the Redwood Empire Food Bank and help provide meals for the one in six of our Sonoma County neighbors who struggle with hunger.

During Oliver’s 2017 “One Bell Saves Supper” Holiday Bell Donation Campaign, with every holiday bell you purchase for one dollar at check out, you provide two meals for those in need this holiday season. 100% of your purchase will be donated.

Please help Oliver’s raise $10,000 for the Redwood Empire Food Bank this year, one bell at a time. Together, we can ring in hope and end hunger.

Thank you Sonoma County and our extended Bay Area families for your incredibly generous support of the Redwood Empire Food Bank and all of our neighbors experiencing hunger. We are grateful to the swift, generous and effective response of so many in our community, but especially to Bay Area Food Banks, California Association of Food Banks, Department of Social Services, Department of Education, Feeding America, Corporate Food Donors, volunteers, and individual food donors. Together, we are ending hunger in our community.

1. Make a financial donation.
We have the capacity to increase the amount of food we provide to the community – we just need the financial resources to make this possible. Please, give generously.
2. Bring non-perishable food donations to the REFB between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday – Friday, or between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm on Saturdays to help us meet the increased need for food and nutrition assistance in our community. No glass, please.
