The topic for our February events will be: “Rhetoric of Images”

Everyone has a story to tell …

Join Inese Heinzel, MA, educator and media producer, in this interactive multimedia seminar and learn how to create a compelling visual memoir drawn from your own life or of someone you love …

Discover how you can Show, not Tell, your story.

Visual memoir is a story based on the evocative power of images, arguably the most potent trigger of memory and emotion. Images—culled from photo albums, journals, personal mementos and other sources—will form the foundation of your story and the basis of your descriptive text. You’ll learn how to:

• Choose a personal yet relatable topic for your story
• Write a short script
• Create a storyboard
• Select, prepare and organize the best photos to drive your story

Whether you decide to post or publish your memoir on social media, or simply save it as a family keepsake, what you will take away from this seminar will make it memorable.
