2018 Healdsburg Jazz Festival
Celebrating 20 years
June 1st – 10th, 2018
Local guitarist Julian Lage and the genre-spanning Bill Frisell will open the 2018 Healdsburg Jazz Festival at the SHED in Healdsburg on Friday, June 1, to kick off 10 days of great jazz in our 20th Anniversary Festival (sorry, this event is sold out). Other artists over the first weekend alone include the Fred Hersch Trio and Trio da Paz, with guests Anat Cohen and Claudia Villela, saxophonist and flutist Charles Lloyd performing with Zakir Hussain, Gerald Clayton, Eric Harland and others.
John Santos, Adam Theis, the Marc Cary Trio, the George Cables Trio and many other artists will perform over the next week of the 10-day festival. Highlights include a special Celebrating Geri Allen night with Ravi Coltrane, Dave Holland and Terri Lyne Carrington, and a Festival All-Stars set with Bobby Watson, David Weiss, Billy Hart and guest Chico Freeman — plus our traditional finale, A Night in New Orleans.
