Next Level Conference – January 3, 2018

Next Level Conference 2019: Expanding Boundaries
Luther Burbank Center for the Arts
Sunday, February 10th, 2019

You may be making music in Sonoma County, but your creative playground is much bigger. Creative collaboration is definitely not bound by geography. The opportunity to connect with both fans and musical partners from all over is getting easier. By working with a broader palette of partners, with different tools and skills, you can push the limits of your capacity, grow your audiences, and ultimately increase revenue streams.

The 2019 Next Level Music Industry Conference, to be held at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, will explore and help break down barriers of many types, including a live-remote recording between a Santa Rosa songwriter and Nashville musicians (see Songwriting Contest, below!). Other session topics will include getting more from your live recordings and making your home studio play “bigger,” connecting with regional and national resources, networking, and more.

Next Level Songwriting Contest
Entry Deadline: Wednesday, January 9, 2019, 4:00 pm PST
Sonoma County songwriters are invited to submit a demo track to be considered for the opportunity to have the track workshopped and re-recorded with a backing band drawn from Nashville’s finest musicians. The live remote recording session will occur as a live webcast at the Next Level Conference on February 10, 2019 at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. Songwriter/producer Cliff Goldmacher, whose credits include collaborations with Keb’ Mo, Lisa Loeb, Mickey Hart, Mindy Smith, Ke$ha and more, will work one-on-one with the selected songwriter to reshape the original song, record the track, and lead the remote recording session.
