Welcome to the 4th JCC Sonoma County Israeli Film Festival! Every year the JFF reviews a large number of great Israeli films, but we cannot show all of them for programming reasons. Many of you told us that you wanted more.
That is why we established the Israeli Film Festival, to allow us to bring the best of Israel’s robust and prolific film industry to you. Foreign language films seldom make it to theaters in our area, so film festivals are your best chance to catch the really good ones.

The Amazing Journey

For 7 years, chef Israel Aharoni and megastar Gidi Gov have been traveling the world for Israeli TV, learning about cultures through their food and the people who make it. Now, for the first time, they come to explore the US. Our very own Doron Hovav, the JCC’s Film Festival Program Director, spent three months on their team as a producer – researching locations, people, and foods, then filming with the crew on a continuous road trip from coast to coast. You’ll be the first in America to watch an episode and hear behind the scenes stories, insights, and anecdotes about the making of this hit show.
