Join us for a day of transformation and celebration.
Barbara will lead a drumming workshop from 12:30 to 3:30 PM. Explore the energizing and meditative power of music and movement. Enjoy the transformative nature of drumming, singing and dancing in community. All levels welcome. Please bring your own drum (djembe & dundun preferable – limited drums available).
Following the drum workshop, there will be a free screening of Barbara’s movie “Keeper of the Beat: A Woman’s Journey into the Heart of Drumming”. Filmed on four continents, this award-winning hour long documentary was produced and directed by three-time Emmy Award-winner David L. Brown. See trailer at kobmovie.com
Immediately following the film join Barbara Borden with her Be In The Beat Drum Ensemble for live drumming with audience participation. Please bring your own drum.
Workshop fees: $75
