The Bay Area Youth Harp Ensemble (BAYHE) is a group of Bay Area harpists, playing music from around the World on folk-style harps. Known for their energetic and sensitive harp music, BAYHE has awed audiences in concert halls, and at fairs and festivals throughout the Bay Area. BAYHE have recorded 2 CDs – “Music from Around the World”, featuring traditional Afghani, Irish, Russian, American and many other world harp music. The second, “Innisheer”, features arrangements of traditional Celtic dance tunes, slow ballads and aires, along with a number of original Celtic-inspired compositions by BAYHE director Diana Stork. BAYHE is sponsored by the Multicultural Music Fellowship (MCMF) a 501 c3 non profit whose mission is to bring the world together thru music, most especially, the harp.
