Redwood Empire Food Bank Offers Service to Anyone in Need – January 3, 2020

Who We Serve: Our Three Initiatives:
Every Child, Every Day
Four robust programs address the nutritional needs of children, targeting both schools and seasonal meal gaps.

Senior Security
Through two programs targeted at seniors, we ensure that a monthly average of 4,250 low income seniors across five counties have access to a consistent source of healthy, fresh food.

Neighborhood Hunger Network
Improving the health and well-being of our community with food and nutrition education. We are winning the fight against hunger by helping anyone in need of food.

Food Connections
The REFB’s Food Connections Market offers a dignified grocery shopping experience and excellent customer service. This unique program helps bridge food assistance and self-sufficiency.

Next door at Food Connections Resources, our team helps individuals and families navigate the CalFresh application process, provides free emergency food boxes, and offers information about hunger-relief programs.

VOLUNTEER:
Every month we rely on volunteers’ generous support, which would otherwise require the work of 45 full-time staff members. We have a variety of fun jobs to choose from.

GET FOOD:
Anyone in need of food can contact Food Connections at the Redwood Empire Food Bank. We can also help you find Produce Pantry & Groceries to Go sites in your neighborhood.

DONATE:
Help the Redwood Empire Food Bank stock our warehouse shelves and distribute food to our neighbors in need. Without your help, we couldn’t do what we do.
