Social Advocates for Youth (SAY) began over 45 years ago with a mission to keep teens out of jail and off the streets. Today, we provide housing, counseling and career services to youth and families throughout Sonoma County.

The SAY Dream Center
Offering housing for 18-24-year olds, along with counseling and job training.

The Coffee House Teen Shelter
Providing short-term shelter, food, counseling, and referrals for youth and their families. 

Work Readiness Program
Paid work experience, environmental education, career exploration and professional development programs for youth looking to get ready to go to work.

MFT Trainee & Internship
SAY offers placements for trainees and interns who are on a licensure track toward becoming an MFT, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist. 

School Based Mental Health Services
Offering mental health services in schools across Sonoma County.

Grief Services
SAY’s Grief Services uses group peer support and expressive arts for children, youth, and adults healing after a death or the trauma of living with a family member with a life-altering illness.

Career Hub
Let us help you explore your career path and make money doing what you love! The SAY Career Hub offers in-take appointments, 1-on-1 coaching, and self-serve computer use. 

Street Outreach Program
Helping homeless youth, youth who are at risk of homelessness, and youth who are transitioning out of treatment programs. 

Tamayo Village
Affordable housing for former foster youth and young adults who may be homeless.

Tattoo Removal
Helping former gang-affiliated youth and young adults dissolve their past by removal of gang-related tattoos.
