“Not Alone” – Film Screening & Community Discussion on teen suicide.

Driven by a desire to understand why her best friend killed herself at 16, filmmaker Jacqueline Monetta, invites teens suffering to share their struggles with mental illness and suicide attempts. Through her intimate one-on-one interviews, Jacqueline and the audience learn about depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicide attempts, getting help and treating mental illness.

Join our host for the evening, Michael Pritchard, teen mental heath advocate, comic and motivational speaker, along with Kiki Goshay, the Director/producer of Not Alone. Participate! Audience Q & A following the film. Light refreshments. This evening made possible with the generous sponsorship of The Marin County Sheriff’s Office
and our friends at Kaiser Permanente.

This program is suitable for teens and their parents, concerned community members and heath care professionals.This screening was made possible through the generosity of Kiki Goshay for the benefit of the Suicide Prevention Hotline in Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties, a service of Buckelew Programs.

On site Spanish language translation provided through the generous support of Marin County Office of Education.
