Sol Flamenco – the passion and fire of Spain hits the stage. Back by popular demand after a sold-out show last year, an evening of lightning fast footwork, haunting guitar rhythms, and soulful singing awaits you.
Featuring a cast of 6 artists who have lived and trained in Spain, the birthplace of flamenco: dancers Damien Alvarez, Gina Giammanco, Joelle Goncalves and Lea Kobeli, with international recording artist, guitarist, Mark Taylor and singer, “La Yuli.” The group has been working together for many years and it shows in the dancer’s precision footwork, vocals, the guitarist’s bold accompaniment and the company’s strong stage presence. Sol Flamenco is Spain’s artistic gem of Sonoma County.
