In 1983, New York City fashion designer Laura Harrison sets aside her career and accompanies her banker husband Jack to Indonesia to save her marriage. Finding herself in a culture of mysticism and superstition, Laura experiences feelings of unease and haunting premonitions. Still, she’s determined to make things work. As she attempts to grow closer to her husband, they become at odds over his shady business dealings. When her premonitions become reality, events spin out of control.
