“Alliance for a Just Recovery” Brings Progressive Groups Together to Focus on Resilience and Equity After Fires – July 25, 2018

In considering how to rebuild after last year’s fires, a new coalition has formed with a focus on equity. How do immigration, fair wages, environmental action and other progressive causes relate to the county’s rebuilding?

At a meeting July 19th, Alliance for a Just Recovery brought together unions, environmental groups, and progressive organizations to consider how recovery from last year’s firestorms can be a catalyst for social change. Today, we’ll hear from organizer Martin J. Bennett of North Bay Jobs With Justice.
