Cal Fire Public Information Officer Shares the Latest on the Mendocino Complex Fires – Aug 3, 2018

Containment lines are growing around the Mendocino Complex Fires, but thousands of homes are still threatened this morning/afternoon. The fires have currently burned 115,168 acres and with containment currently at 41 percent. Firefighters are concerned because a red flag warning is in effect over part of the weekend.

Reporter Adia White talks with Cal Fire Public Information Officer Tricia Austin about what these conditions mean for firefighters’ efforts to bring the blazes under control.
