Changes in how math is taught can prove challenging for parents trying to help their kids with homework.
It’s August and kids in Sonoma County are back in school. But, as students seek help with their math homework, parents are often stumped. Math in the modern age is taught differently, and that makes it harder for adults to help. NPR “Math Guy” Keith Devlin shares his thoughts on this dilemma with KRCB News Director Steve Mencher.
