In both novels and a memoir, award-winning writer Reyna Grande examines her own past as an illegal immigrant, arriving, assimilating and succeeding in modern California. She shared her story in person with students at a Santa Rosa Middle School yesterday. KRCB’s Bruce Robinson spoke with her there.
